Description

Number 1 St Mary's Place is a two-storey building with an early 19th-century ashlar front. It features two windows set in plan reveals, with stone arches and double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The roof is made of stone slate. The entrance has an inset door with six panels, four of which are glass, and is topped by a Gothic-style traceried fanlight. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 4, the Town Hall, and the Church of St Mary.
