Description

GREAT PONTON DALLYGATE SK 93 SW (south side) 4/99 Dunkirk Cottage II Farmhouse. 1775, with minor C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble, ashlar quoins, colourwashed. Concrete tile roof. 2 gable, single ridge brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storey, 5 bay front, having brick dentillated eaves with off-centre half glazed door, covered by C20 gabled brick porch with to left 2 three light windows and to right single 2 and 3 light casements. To first floor, 2 sliding glazing bar sashes and 2 three light casements. All windows have timber lintels. In the gable end a datestone 1775 in a lozenge. The rear wing has a lower mansard roof.
