Description

North Road Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse, altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is slate, with raised stone coped gables and two gable and one ridge yellow brick stacks. The two-storey plus attic farmhouse has a four-bay front. An off-centre half-glazed door is flanked to the right by a single sash window and to the left by a pair of sash windows, all with margin lights. Four margin light sash windows are located on the first floor. All openings are topped with plain ashlar lintels. Four gabled dormers with margin light sashes are visible at eaves level.
