Description
Cedars Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring flush ashlar quoins and red brick dressings. The roof is pantiled with raised stone coped gables and two brick gable stacks. The building is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys with a three-bay front. The entrance is off-centre, featuring a planked door with a plain overlight, which is sheltered by an ogee-headed latticed ironwork porch. To the left of the door is a glazing bar sash window, while the first floor has three glazing bar sashes, two of which are smaller and set under brick cambered arches. At the rear, there is a single-storey wing with attics that has three bays, a central six-panelled door covered by a semi-circular headed latticed ironwork porch, and is flanked by single three-light casements under cambered brick arches. The roof includes two dormers.
