Description
The Hall is a house dating from the early 18th century, with later alterations in the late 18th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, with raised stone coped gables and kneelers. The roof is plain tiled and includes two brick gable stacks and one ridge stack at the rear. The building has a T-plan layout and a five-bay, two-storey front with attics, which is set on a plinth and has a moulded eaves band.
The central entrance consists of a 20th-century panelled door with a traceried fanlight, flanked by single tall glazing bar lights. The three sections of the façade are unified under a cornice. On either side of the entrance are pairs of tall glazing bar sash windows, while the first floor features five glazing bar sashes. The roof includes three glazing bar casement dormers, each with a hipped tile roof and lead dressings. At the rear, there is a lower two-storey, six-bay wing.
