Description
Bluebell Cottage is a former barn that has been converted into a cottage. It dates from the 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins, and has a part hipped pantile roof with a single ridge and gable brick stacks. It is designed in an L-plan and is a single storey with attics. The entrance is a planked door located in the angle of the ranges, and each wing has a single two-light casement window. The roof includes three dormers, each with two-light glazing bar casements, gabled pantile roofs, and tiled cheeks. The wall facing the churchyard has blocked triangular breather holes. The cottage is listed for its group value only.
