Description
Manor House is a late 18th-century building that has undergone early 19th-century and 20th-century alterations. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring brick and ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a slate roof with raised brick coped gables and two brick gable stacks. The house is designed in an L-shape and has two storeys with attics, presenting a three-bay front with a brick dogtooth eaves course.
On the left side, there is a single-storey, one-bay 20th-century addition. The central entrance features a 20th-century glazing bar doorway with a plain overlight set in a flush ashlar surround, flanked by single bow windows that have wide glazing bars, moulded cornices, and parapets. The first floor contains three glazing bar sash windows, and all openings have segmental heads with flush ashlar surrounds. The roof includes three glazing bar two-light casement dormers with lead cheeks and segmental roofs.
At the rear, there is a 19th-century two-storey wing that contains a panelled door with a stone architrave and pediment, above which is a tripartite window, along with four additional bays of sash windows.
