Description
The barn and stable at Pettywood Farm is an early 18th-century structure. It is built from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and features a pantile roof with raised stone coped gables. The building has an L-shape layout and is a single-storey barn with a plinth and a single bay. It has opposed central planked doors beneath a timber lintel and vertical breather slots. The lower stable block is positioned at right angles and includes a central planked stable door, along with an additional planked door at high level on the left. The barn boasts a staggered butt purlin softwood roof.
