Description
Pettywood Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse located on Clipsham Road in Careby, Aunby and Holywell. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. It features a concrete tiled roof with a single rubble axial ridge and gable stacks. The farmhouse has a lobby entry plan and is two storeys high with a six-bay front. The front includes two planked doors and one half-glazed door, all accompanied by three tripartite glazing bar casements. On the first floor, there are three tripartite sliding glazing bar sashes. All openings are fitted with timber lintels and ashlar reveals. At the rear, there is a catslide outshut.
