Description
Eddlethorpe Kennels Farm Barn is a barn built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with brick quoins and an eaves course, topped with a pantile roof. The barn has two storeys and features seven first-floor windows. The central doorway has been widened and is flanked by pairs of casement windows set in keyed stone surrounds. On the left end, there is a double door flanked by board doors in keyed cambered brick surrounds, with a stable door in a Gibbs surround to the right. The right end features a board door in a keyed cambered brick surround, along with a boarded opening in a keyed stone architrave to the right. The first floor has slatted and boarded openings in keyed surrounds, except for the sixth bay, which has been enlarged to create a pitching door. The roof is hipped and has a truncated stack at the ridge.
