Description

This milestone, located 10 yards east of the junction with the A1, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of cast iron with a limestone back and has a triangular shape. The metal plate is facetted and chamfered, featuring the raised cast letters "Colsterworth", "Bourne 12", and "Colsterworth 1/2".
