Description

This is a tombstone located to the south of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels in Uffington, dating from 1799. It is made of ashlar stone and features a semi-circular head. The tombstone has a large roundel that contains two elliptical inscription panels and paterae. Above the roundel, there is a draped urn flanked by cherubs, which are adorned with floral sprays.
