Description
The fountain, built in 1897, is made of ashlar stone. It features a trough designed as a stepped Gothic wall with roll moulded copings. At the center, there is a pointed arch with a hollow moulded head and fleurons, above which is a lion head spigot. An inscription panel commemorates the Jubilee year of 1897, flanked by cross-shaped arrow loops in low relief. The taller central section displays two angled shields that bear the dates 1837 and 1897.
