Description
The Old Post Office and Pollys Cottage is a former house that has been converted into two dwellings. It dates from the early 18th century and features some alterations from the 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and has a Collyweston slate roof, along with two red brick ridge stacks.
It is two stories high and has a five-bay front. The central entrance consists of a planked door, which is flanked by pairs of three-light plain casement windows. On the first floor, there are four similar two-light windows located at the eaves. All openings are topped with timber lintels.
