Description

Number 18 St George's Street dates back to the 13th century or earlier. It is a two-storey building constructed of ashlar stone. The corners are rusticated, and there is one brick and one stone chimney. A chamfered band runs around the building between the two storeys. There are two windows on each floor; the upper windows are 19th-century three-light sash windows set within the reveals and framed with carved voussoirs. The ground floor windows are similar, and there is a four-panel door with two panes of glass. The building has a moulded stone plinth. Numbers 17 to 21, St George’s Street form a group.
