Description
No. 63 St Leonard's Street is a building likely dating from the 17th century. It stands two storeys high, constructed from coursed rubble with a brick ground floor, and features a stone slate roof. The upper storey is highlighted by a large pyramidal hipped dormer. The building has a 5-light window fitted with modern casements, while the canted ground floor bay retains glazing bars. A wide roof extends down to create a pentice over the ground floor bay and central door. The right-hand section of the building is gabled and rendered. The ground floor has been modernized with tiles and includes a late 19th-century shop window with modern glass. This property is part of a group with Nos. 59 to 63.
