Description
No. 8 St George's Street is a building from 1671, constructed with coursed stone and featuring a stone slate roof. It stands two stories high and has two gabled dormers. The ground floor has been modernized with tiles and includes a late 19th-century shop front with two doors and windows. To the south, there is a smaller coursed rubble extension that has been re-slated. The gable end facing St Leonard's Street is rendered and shows remnants of one window on the first floor, alongside a similar late 19th-century shop window with modern glass on the ground floor. Nos. 6 to 11, which are consecutive, form a group with this building.
