Description
The Angel Public House dates to the 18th century. It is a two-storey building with attics, constructed of painted coursed stone, featuring two gabled dormers. The front elevation has two windows on the upper floor, with glazing bars, and one window on the ground floor, all hung sashes. A six-panel door is present, alongside a yard door. An early 19th-century two-storey extension adjoins the original structure, featuring two windows on the first floor and one on the ground floor, with a small shop front and a plain door. The extension has a plinth. The building forms a group with numbers 1 to 4 on the lane.
