Description
Fusethwaite Yeat is a late 17th-century building located on Dodd's Lane, constructed from lime-washed stone rubble. It features a roof made of graded slate that is stepped on the gable ends, along with a large round chimney. The building has two low storeys, with a slate dripstone running over the entire ground floor. There is a wide gabled porch that includes internal slate benches. The ground floor has three windows, while the upper floor has four, with most of the windows being 16-paned sashes. The building faces south and has an attached low outhouse to the west. The north side contains three very small windows. Fusethwaite Yeat is visible from all sides due to its location near public roads and footpaths. Inside, there is a notable cupboard dated 1683.
