Description
The building at 2 St Leonard’s Street is similar in appearance to number 1. It dates from the early 18th century and is three storeys high, constructed of ashlar. The roof is covered in stone slates, and there are two windows on each of the upper two floors, each with a keystone. The windows have double-hung sashes with glazing bars, though the ground floor windows have modern replacements. A four-panel door is fitted with a rectangular fanlight above. A plinth is visible, along with a foot scraper. The building forms a group with numbers 1 to 7 on the same side of the street.
