Description

Number 60, St Leonard’s Street is an 18th-century building with alterations from the early 19th century. It is two storeys and has attics, constructed of ashlar stone with a stone slate roof, slightly lower than the adjacent number 59. There are two hipped dormers in the roof, with no glazing bars to the windows. The building has two bays, each two storeys high, with four-light windows. The front is stuccoed, and a band runs along the ground floor window cills. A moulded cornice is present below the ground floor windows. The front door is made of six panels, with two panes of glass. It has a small moulded stone hood supported by brackets. Brick and stone stacks rise from the building, and the gable ends are capped with stone. Numbers 59 to 63 form a group.
