Description

59 St Leonard's Street is a building dating from 1671, with alterations from the early 19th century. It is two storeys high and constructed of ashlar stone. The roof is made of stone slate and features two stone and brick chimneys. The building has a moulded wooden cornice at the eaves. A canted bay window, which is two storeys tall, includes both windows and a central door. There are stone bands at the cills and a lintel on the ground floor, along with a small keystone above the plain door. The gable ends are capped with stone. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 59 to 63.
