Description
4 Berry Lane is a building dating from around 1600, which has been altered over time. It is constructed of ashlar and features a modern tiled roof with stone copings on the gables at the sides. The building has two storeys and attics, with a chamfered plinth and chimneys at either end. The south front is three windows wide, with three light leaded casements on the first floor and a two light casement positioned to the right of centre on the ground floor. There is a small attic window in the side gable. The left central door is ledged and has a chamfered surround with cut spandrels leading to a four-centred arch. Inside, there are two open fireplaces and one stop-chamfered ground floor beam that extends the entire length of the house.
