Description
Englefield is a house dating from around 1800, constructed of ashlar with a stone slate roof and ashlar end chimneys. It stands three storeys high and features bands over the ground and first floors, along with a cornice and parapet. The building has three windows, which are glazing-bar sashes adorned with keystones. The central windows on the first and second floors are set in raised flat surrounds with cock-beads. The central doorway also has a similar surround and includes a stone bracketed flat hood, a six-panel door with the upper four panels raised and fielded, and a transom light with arched glazing.
