Description

Dolphin Cottage is a house that likely dates back to the 17th century, with changes made to its windows in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble resting on an ashlar plinth, topped with a Cotswold stone roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, and it appears to have originally been designed with a three-storey front. There are two gabled dormers and two windows on the upper floor, featuring glazing-bar sashes with wooden lintels. On the ground floor to the right, there is a square bay that also serves as a porch for a mid-19th century four-panel door with a narrow overlight above it. The second-floor windows have been blocked.
