Description

This is likely a 17th-century building, or possibly earlier, situated on the south side of St Leonard’s Street. It is two storeys high and constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. The front features two windows, which are 19th-century casements. A small, blank plaque is set beneath a moulded stone cornice. A small, rendered plinth runs along the base of the building, and there's an iron bracket above the doorway. A modern double door is now in place. The stones around the two windows are larger, and the ground floor sashes have rendered lintels with no glazing bars. A date of 1685 is visible on the building. Numbers 59 to 63 form a group.
