Description

The building at 25 St Leonard’s Road is a detached house dating from around 1840. It is a square design with two full storeys, an attic, and a basement. The house exhibits interesting detail typical of the period, including a serrated fascia, hood moulds above the windows, iron balconies and balustrades, and a wooden trellis verandah. There are three windows on the front facade. The central entrance features a panelled door with panelled reveals. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. Numbers 21 to 25 on the east side of St Leonard’s Road form a notable group.
