Description

The buildings at 21 and 23 St Leonard’s Road date to around 1840 and represent a good example of a pair of houses. Each house is two storeys high with five windows. The ground floor features French windows and original wood trellis verandahs, which retain their roof canopies. Number 21 has a particularly noteworthy doorway with a segmental fanlight. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The roofs are hipped and covered in slate. Numbers 21 to 25 (the odd numbers) form a cohesive architectural grouping.
