Description

In the yard at the rear of No 33 St Peter's Street, there is a section of early stone wall that is part of the historical remains of Sempringham Hall, a foundation established by the Gilbertines. This wall features a pair of walled-up low 15th-century doorways, which have labels and one remaining headstop. The wall is currently covered by garages. This structure is part of a group that includes Nos 26 to 33 and the stabling to the rear of No 37.
