Description
35 Northgate is a small, plain stone house dating from the mid-18th century. It features a pantile roof and has two windows on each floor, which are now modern bow windows. There is a modern brick chimney stack. The original door has been blocked, and there is a 19th-century doorway to the left, which has a round arched head with a keystone and a cornice above the modern door. A moulded stone coat of arms is located over the former door. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 23 and 27 to 45 (odd) and the Manor House.
