Description

Nos. 5 and 7 on North Fen Road are a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick that has been pebble dashed, topped with a pantiled roof featuring raised brick coped gables and two rendered gable stacks. It has an irregular L-plan and is a single storey plus attics, presenting a three-bay front with a dogtooth eaves course. The central entrance is a 20th-century door, which is sheltered by a gabled lattice porch. On either side of the door are single three-light plain casements. The roof includes two gabled dormers, each featuring two-light sliding glazing bar sashes with planked gables and rendered cheeks.
