Description
Thorpe Latimer House is a house from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century and again in 1906. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a slate roof with raised stone-capped gables and two gable stacks. The building has a T-shaped plan and is two storeys high, plus a stone porch with a flat roof. It is flanked by single canted bay windows that have lead roofs and contain plain sash windows. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows. The roof includes a central three-light dormer window with a flat roof. Inside, the house retains a dog-leg staircase with elegant turned balusters.
