Description

The building known as the pound behind the Methodist Chapel, formerly listed as The Pinfold, is a village pound from the early 19th century that was restored in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond of three, with limestone ashlar copings. The structure is circular and features 20th-century double planked doors and square gate piers with ashlar dressings. The walls of the pound are approximately 10 feet high.
