Description
No. 198 on Tollerton Lane is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick stretchers with pink headers and features a plain tile roof. The building has two gable and one ridge red brick stacks, with brick coped gables that include kneelers. The house is two and a half storeys tall and consists of four bays.
The entrance has a doorway with a panelled door, part of which is now glazed, and is topped by a hood. To the right of the doorway is a single tripartite casement window, while to the left are two similar casements. Above these, there are three more similar casements, and over the doorway is a single two-light casement. On the top floor, there are four similar casements. The ground and first floor casements are set under segmental arches.
Attached to the left and set back is a two-storey, single bay lean-to that has one single casement window and two casements above.
