Description

Nos. 27 and 29 on High Street are a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the early and late 19th century. The building is timber framed and covered with red brick laid in Flemish bond, topped with a roof of red plain tiles. It has a central stack and stands two storeys high. The facade features a two-window range of late 19th century sash windows set in earlier openings, which have gauged brick flat arches above them. The central doorway is adorned with moulded pilasters and a flat canopy supported by brackets, along with a frieze.
