Description
The Manse is a house built around 1800, constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and topped with a slate roof. It has a square plan with two internal stacks and features a late 19th-century rear extension. The building stands two storeys high and has a three-window range of sash windows that include marginal lights, all set beneath gauged brick arches with segmental soffits. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, with the top two panels glazed, and is complemented by an overlight, pilasters, a frieze, and a flat canopy. Corner pilasters enhance the façade, and the roof is hipped. Additionally, there is a mid-19th-century iron gate, gateposts, and railings adorned with honeysuckle and fleurs-de-lys motifs, which are connected to the house by a dwarf brick wall on the right side.
