Description

The Drum Public House is a mid-19th century public house constructed from rendered brick and topped with a roof of red plain tiles. The building has a symmetrical plan and features two internal end stacks, facing south. It stands two storeys high and has a two-window range of original sash windows, each with 16 lights, set beneath stucco gauged arches with segmental soffits. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight, flanked by pilasters, and is adorned with a moulded frieze and a flat canopy supported by moulded brackets. The building also showcases stucco rusticated quoins and crested ridge tiles. It is included for its group value.
