Description

This barn, located in Theaker's Yard, dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and features a pantile roof with brick dentilated eaves. The west front has a large opening that is now partially blocked, which originally contained early 19th-century double plank doors set in a flush brick surround with a segment head. To the right, there is another pair of double plank doors beneath a wooden lintel, and above this, a small 2-light casement window, also under a wooden lintel. The barn is included in the listing for its group value context.
