Barn In Theaker'S Yard

This barn, located in Theaker's Yard, dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and features a pantile roof with brick dentilated eaves. The west front has a large opening that is now partially blocked, which originally contained early 19th-century double plank doors set in a flush brick surround with a segment head. To the right, there is another pair of double plank doors beneath a wooden lintel, and above this, a small 2-light casement window, also under a wooden lintel.
