Description
The Manor House is an early 18th-century house built from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. It features a pantile roof with ashlar coped gables and three brick gable stacks set on ashlar bases. The building has flush ashlar quoins, a plinth, a first-floor band, and brick dentillated eaves. It is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys with five bays. The central doorway has an 8-panel, double leaf door framed by a plain ashlar surround with staff moulding. To the left of the door are two glazing bar sashes, while to the right is a blocked opening and a large glazing bar sash. Above the door, there are five glazing bar sashes, with the central one retaining its early 18th-century glazing bars. All windows have plain ashlar surrounds with staff moulds. Inside, there is a contemporary turned baluster staircase with three flights.
