Description

Park Farm House is a farmhouse that dates from the early 19th century and late 19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a pantiled roof with two gable and one ridge red brick stacks. The building has a two-storey, seven-bay front with a parapet and ball finials, where the left three bays are an addition.

The central entrance consists of glazed 20th-century doors that are framed by a reused early 17th-century moulded ashlar surround and a Doric doorcase. This doorcase supports a plain frieze and cornice, which contains a circular panel and is topped with an obelisk finial. On either side of the entrance are three three-light glazing bar casements with segmental ashlar heads. The first floor features seven two-light glazing bar casements with flat arched ashlar heads. The doorcase is likely reused from an earlier hall. At the rear, there is a reconstructed gable adorned with obelisk finials and a datestone that reads 1649.
