Description

This is a section of the Colonia wall located 3 metres west of Number 2 Beaumont Fee in Lincoln. The wall dates from the mid 1st century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble topped with brick coping. The wall is approximately 15 metres long and 1 metre high. It is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, County No. 253.
