Description
15 and 16 Drury Lane are two cottages that have been converted into a house, dating from the late 18th century. The exterior is made of coursed squared rubble and features hipped pantile roofs with two brick stacks. The building has two storeys plus attics and is arranged in a T-plan with two bays.
On the south side, to the right, there is a 19th-century two-storey canted bay window with glazing bar sashes. To the left, there is a wooden doorcase with pilasters and a part-glazed six-panel door, above which is a segment-headed plain sash window.
No. 15, on the east side, has a near-central wooden porch with a hood supported by posts, and to the right, there is a late 19th-century two-storey square bay window. No. 16, on the west side, features a wooden doorcase with pilasters and a part-glazed six-panel door, above which is a segment-headed glazing bar sash. To the left, there is a two-storey canted bay window with late 19th-century casements, and to the right, there is a similar single-storey bay window. Each side of the building has a single raking dormer. The interior has not been inspected.
