Description

Two houses, dating from the mid-19th century, are now used as two shops. The front is rendered and colourwashed, with a pantile roof and a gable stack. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. A central, close-boarded door is set within stone and wood lintels. To the left is a wooden shopfront with a cornice, a multi-paned window, and a half-glazed door set in a splayed recess. To the right is a shopfront also with a cornice, featuring a wood mullioned window and a half-glazed door. Above the shopfronts, the windows include a central plain sash, a larger plain sash to the right, and a 20th-century casement to the left; all have segmental heads. A 19th-century street lamp is attached to a bracket on the right-hand side. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
