Description
2 and 3 Silver Street is a house that has been converted into two shops. It dates from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The front is rendered and colourwashed, featuring imitation timber framing, and it has a slate roof with a brick ridge stack. The building has coped gables, one of which includes a kneeler. It stands three storeys tall and has five bays.
On the left side, there is a late 20th-century shopfront, while the right side features a mid-20th-century shopfront with a fascia cornice. Above the shopfronts, there is a central glazing bar sash window, which is flanked on the left by a 19th-century two-light casement window and on the right by an altered early 19th-century bowed sash window. Above this, on the left, is another 19th-century two-light casement, and on the right, there are three early 19th-century glazing bar sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
