WESTGATE 1. 1348 (South Side) No 47 (Church Precincts) TF 5287 2/20 2.11.54. II GV 2. Mid C18. L-shaped 2-storey brick house, steep late tiled roof, wood eaves cornice, 5 windows, hung sashes in wide wooden cases, glazing bars, segmental- arched heads, plain cills, stringcourse between storeys. Central entrance approached by 3 stone steps. Wooden doorcase, pilasters both having entablature with triglyph frieze, moulded architrave about the doorway, door of 6 panels. Modern iron handrails. 2 foot scrapers. Slight plinth. Tumbled-in gable ends.

Nos 25, 29 to 31 (odd), Westgate House, The Limes and Nos 43 to 47 (odd) form a group.
