Description

This is a Wesleyan Methodist chapel, dating from 1859. It is constructed of red brick with painted ashlar detailing and has an overhanging slate roof. The south front has four bays, featuring a gabled brick porch on the right with a pointed doorway, ashlar quoins, a moulded brick hood mould, label stops, and a double plank door. A plaque above the doorway is inscribed "Wesleyan Methodist Chapel 1859." To the left of the porch are two windows, and one window to the right, all with pointed heads, intersecting tracery, and glazing bar sashes. The west front has a single pointed window with glazing bars and intersecting tracery. The east front features two similar pointed windows. All the windows have painted ashlar quoins and moulded brick hood moulds with label stops.
