Description

24, 26, and 28 West Street is a terrace of three shops built in the mid-18th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. The buildings are made of colourwashed brick and render, topped with a pantile roof that features a single ridge stack and a gable stack.

The exterior consists of two storeys plus attics and has a three-bay front. Number 24 has a dentilled wooden eaves cornice, while the other two properties have a plain cornice. Each shop has a modern shop front on the ground floor. On the first floor, there is a margin light sash window, a plain sash window to the right, and a blocked window opening. All window openings have brick segmental heads. The attics feature three dormer windows with lead roofs and either glazing bar sash or casement windows. The interior has not been inspected.
