The building is made of red brick in Flemish bond, with an ashlar plinth and a Welsh slate roof. It features a right-hand gable stack, an ogee gutter, and a dentilled frieze.
The exterior consists of three storeys plus attics, with a two-bay front. The 19th-century shop front includes a central three-light shop window and canted recessed doorways on either side. The doors have flush panels, with flush panelled reveals and overlights. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane glazing bar sash windows, and on the second floor, there are two 12-pane glazing bar sash windows. All openings are topped with splayed rubbed brick arches. The roof features a two-light dormer with slate-hung cheeks and a lead roof. The interior has not been inspected.
