Description
No. 15 High Street is a shop and house built in the early 19th century and altered in the 20th century. The building is made of colourwashed brick and features a raised later parapet with a flat roof behind. It has a wedge-shaped plan and stands four storeys tall with a two-bay front that includes a 20th-century shop front.
On the first floor, there are two three-over-four glazing bar sash windows, while the second floor has two three-over-three glazing bar sash windows. The third floor features two smaller similar windows. All windows have flush arches and splayed stucco arches. The side front exhibits a similar design, with a curved corner. The Bridge Street front also has two bays and mirrors the main front, but features three-over-four pane glazing bar sashes on the second floor.
Inside, the building includes a stick baluster staircase, some contemporary doors, and fireplace surrounds.
