Description

A pair of early 19th-century houses with shops, located on Bridge Street in Boston. The houses are constructed of red brick and have a concrete tiled roof, with a single ridge stack. The houses are three storeys high and have a two-bay front. The ground floor features a pair of late 19th-century shop fronts, restored to include pilasters, bracketed cornices, and half-glazed doors. The upper floors contain paired double sash windows; the second-floor windows are smaller and set within broad rubbed brick arches. The interior of the houses was not inspected. Bridge Street was constructed after the reconstruction of Town Bridge in 1808.
